Facilities for Hire
The Cosmos Community Centre is a voluntary Centre run by a Management Committee and has many facilities available for hire.
On offer we have a large Sports Hall for activities including badminton, fitness, martial arts and of course football, basketball and hockey. There is a spacious and light multi function Hall suitable for dance classes, martial arts, fitness, meetings and information sessions. We have meeting rooms which can accommodate smaller groups and classes.
The sports hall and activities area can both be hired for children's parties. Along with the coffee bar area this is ideal for youngsters to have a great time - and parents don't have to clean up at the end of the day. The multi-function hall is also ideal for discos, social gatherings and grown-up parties.
The Centre also has a sixteen seater (including the driver) Mini Bus which is available for hire by local groups and organisations.

Activities Area
The multi-purpose Activities Area (18.3m x 7.3m) is ideal for parties, larger meetings and seminars, dance classes etc. Seating and tables are available from the Centre. The Activities Area can be hired in conjunction with the Sports Hall and Coffee Bar for childrens' birthday parties
Meeting Rooms
For smaller groups or classes, there are two meeting rooms that can seat around 15-20 people depending on layout. Please note that these rooms are on the upper floor of the Centre and we have no lift facilities.
Coffee Bar
The Coffee Bar is open to all Centre users for drinks and snacks and can also be hired for events. A fully equipped kitchen (with urns, cooker, oven, microwave and cutlery/crockery) is situated next to the Coffee Bar and servery.
Sports Hall
The Sports Hall provides an excellent venue for individuals and clubs, with facilities for indoor activities such as football, roller hockey, badminton, gymnastics, martial arts, basketball, dance and more. Separate male and female changing rooms and showers are available.
